Birthday Fun!

So, on 09/09/09 I turned 29 and it was a little different than years in the past.  Austin had to be in Mexico for work :( but I still had lots of fun!  Tracy took me for lunch and then I got to stop by my parent's house and see everyone's favorite girl Leah!

My coworkers were sweet enough to get me a cake!  It was red velvet and YUMMY!  They even sang to me.  It was beautiful.  ;)

On Saturday my parents had a few of us over to celebrate!  The plan was to relax by the pool and hang out but the weather didn't allow that to happen so we just hung out and watched college football.  Good times.  :)

While Austin's Away The Dogs Will Play....

Over the long weekend Brody and I had a special houseguest.  Bailey Pate came to visit while her Mom & Dad were cheering on Vanderbilt in Tennessee.  Brody didn't really know what to think of her...  But she seemed oblivious to his 'tude and she had a blast!

So, Austin bailed on me for the long weekend and left on Wednesday to go dove hunting until Monday. So, I decided to take THREE WHOLE DAYS off work and hang out with Tracy and Leah during the daytime. It was SO much fun and a lot of work! (Did y'all know that babies take that much attention!?) ;) I changed my 1st dirty diaper and got a mini-crash course in parenting. Anyways, Leah is still on "house arrest" so what do you do for fun with three days at home?? TAKE PICTURES!! Warning, there are LOTS!
