Sweet baby GIRL!!!!
Austin and I went to the big ultrasound this morning and found out that not only is Baby T measuring 5 days ahead (she's in the race to be born on the same day as her cousin, another girl, her future BFF!) and is as healthy as can be but IT is also a SHE!!
I'm soooo happy not to call my baby an "it" anymore! It bothered me for some reason.
Here are some pics of our precious little girl. Out of respect for her privacy I'm not going to put up the gender pics on the internet. ;) She's a lady!
Such a pretty profile! I could stare at it all day long :)
Look at that big ole' cute belly! You can actually see her heart in this picture :)
We are SOOOO excited! I've thought she was a boy this whole time except for right when we found out I was pregnant. My dr called with the good news and said "It's a miracle! You have one stubborn baby in there!" and I immediately thought "oh, then it must be a girl!" Ha! But since then I've always thought SHE was a HE! When the ultrasound tech told us she was a girl I said "It's a GIRL?!?!" and started tearing up. I just couldn't believe it!
I have ALWAYS wanted a baby girl for as long as I can remember! Even when I was a little girl I always thought I'd have a girl and now I will! Don't get me wrong, I was getting really excited thinking our Lil One was a boy but I'm so excited it's a girl! I told Austin that she can still go fishing with him. :)
Just about everyone I talk to regularly knew we had this appointment today and by the time we got out of the doctors office I had three missed calls and four text messages waiting for me. When I pulled into the parking lot at work I got a text from my coworker asking when I was going to tell them the news and I told her I'd be inside in a few minutes and when I walked into our office they ALL where waiting at the door for me, even the guys!
Oh, I drank part of a REAL Diet Coke in preparation for the ultrasound to make sure she was good and awake. It worked, she was moving all over the place! I told Austin it was probably like her having a five hour energy drink since I haven't had any caffeine during the pregnancy.
Austin said as soon as we saw it was a girl he felt his wallet get a little lighter. Ha!

Let the planning begin!! :)
