4th of July Weekend Fun

My holiday weekend officially started on Friday when I braved the horrible weather we were having and went with a few friends and Tracy to see Eclipse.  LOVED it!!  Not as much as the book of course, but it was pretty good.

After the movie the weather was still pretty bad so I stayed the night with Tracy, Ryan & Leah.  Saturday morning we went to breakfast and Leah is such a big girl, she can eat big girl food!

Saturday Cindy came into town for the weekend and she, Austin and I went to this great pizza place in The Woodlands and then we walked over to Hubbell & Hudson which is an AWESOME gourmet grocery store.  You can walk around that place for an hour or two and not even realize it's been that long.  It makes Central Market look like a Kroger.  They have a really great specialty meat section so we got a HUGE rib eye and Austin grilled it for us.  Our dinner was delicious.  :)

Here I am on Saturday night about 1/2 way through making cake balls for Sunday.
It took F-O-R-E-V-E-R.

The finished product!

Sunday afternoon we headed to the Ogorchock's house for a 4th of July party.

It was a fun long weekend!  I hope everyone had a great time!

I'll end this post with a few pictures that Tracy took of Leah on the 4th just because she's so cute.  :)

I have tried to make cake balls twice and it was a huge disaster both times! Maybe the 3rd time will be a charm?
