Childrens Museum Day

Ok, this one I can't believe I never blogged about!  I even searched back a few times because I was SURE I blogged about this day!  Oops.  Back in November (this is my last fall post) we went to a local children's museum day at the pavilion near our house.  It was SO MUCH FUN!!  All I knew was the time, location and that Doc McStuffins' clinic was going to be there.  That is HUGE in our house!  So we talked all morning about how Hannah was going to meet Doc McStuffins.

She was excited!

As soon as we walked in we went straight back to the Doc McStuffins exhibit and got in the line.  We were one of the firsts families in line and that line got LONG super fast!!  Hannah was so excited!

And then this happened.  It was our turn and this girl started talking about Hannah's stuffed animal and I asked where the Doc was.  SHE WASN'T THERE!!!!  What?!?!  How can you have a Doc McStuffins clinic with NO Doc McStuffins???  Anyways, Hannah was less than impressed with Doc's "helper" and just silently watched but didn't seem to care that Doc actually wasn't there so at least we didn't have a melt down about it.  I did tell about 10 other moms on the way past the line that the Doc was in fact, not in the clinic and they were happy to get out of that looooong line after that.  Crazy.

After that we moved on to the petting zoo!  There was SO much to do at the festival!  Hannah pet I think every single animal in the zoo.

Even a donkey!

Then it got too close!  Haha!

There was an obstacle course that she could go through.

It was pretty long and she did great with our coaching.  :)

She got her own doctor hat

And rolled out some dough and made shapes

Then she got to decorate a cookie!

Eating the cookie was way more fun than decorating it.  :)

We did some crafts!  She made a pasta necklace and bracelet, a mask, a few Christmas ornaments and some pictures.  There were tons of stations everywhere with fun stuff for her to do.

And of course you can't go to the pavilion without running on the hill!

Cuteness

She sure loves her Daddy!

We got our picture taken for the "newspaper"

She's becoming an old pro at the barrel rides by now!

I figured she could ride on her own but the "train conductor" said maybe I should ride with her so I did.  Good thinking because that guy was speedy!  She loved it.

After a few hours we left the festival and headed across the street for lunch where Hannah enjoyed cleaning herself.  Haha.

And doing a little shopping and bear hugging.  She's so funny.

It was such a fun morning!!  I love taking her places like this and seeing how much fun she has and how excited she gets doing new things.

Fall Bucket List

Y'all, I'm SO far behind on blogging that I'm having a hard time catching up!  It's one of those situations where you have such a long list that you kind of want to just throw it away and start over.  But I'm doing my best to catch up because I don't want to miss documenting all our memories.  In the 4.5 years of blogging I've never gotten this far behind!  Part of the reason is technical difficulties.  When I'm on my work computer for some reason my pictures have a hard time uploading and on my home laptop it's just so slow that I get frustrated!  I use my iPad 99.9% of the time at home and I don't really know of a quick and easy way to get a post loaded on that so if anyone has any iPad uploading suggestions let me know!

So anyways, on to the post!  Back in September I made a Fall Bucket list of fun stuff for us to do while the weather was nice.  As we completed the activity I would mark it off and it stayed on our fridge all season.  One of the reasons I wanted to make a Fall Bucket List this year is I LOVE doing little crafts with Hannah and I try once a weekend for us to do something fun together instead of getting in a boring routine of chores, errands and staying inside.  We like to go on "hikes" which are really walks near the woods with Daddy as our guide, and do easy and fun stuff near the house.  Most of which is free which is a bonus!

Here's our list!

We visited a pumpkin patch and corn maze!  That was such a fun morning and we will continue with that tradition each year.

We carved a Minnie Mouse pumpkin for the porch.  Hannah was SO proud!

We took family pictures!

We all went to the Texas A&M vs Vanderbilt game

We made a fall treat!  Hannah had so much fun helping Mommy make the cake.

I stir Mommy!

Yummy!  You gotta have a little taste!

Our finished product that this girl couldn't wait to eat!  Pumpkin spice bundt cake with cinnamon cream cheese icing.  It was GOOD (even if it was gluten free)!

We went to a fall festival at the church!

And another fun fall festival at the Hocus Pocus night at the pavilion!

My absolute favorite things to do with Hannah, crafts!  I love making things to keep for years to come.  :)  Hannah LOVES painting and making hand/foot print anything.  It takes all 3 of us for the foot/hand prints and then Mommy takes over the painting part.  I love how this plate turned out.  Footprint witches!

After Halloween we had lots of pumpkins around the house so Hannah painted them!

I think this is my favorite handprint ever.  She did this at school but I had to include it.  It makes me laugh every time I see it!  Our little turkey.

We did another handprint at home for Thanksgiving!

Hannah went trick or treating!  Brody even came along!  Our cute little pirates.

We had a great and busy fall!!  I have one more fall related post and then I'll be in December!  Woo hoo!

Picture Day

Remember when you were in school and you'd get all excited for picture day?  Now I get excited for Hannah's picture day!  About a month ago they had their school pictures taken and you just never know what you're going to get with a two year old.  I LOVE her picture!!  She is just the cutest and is such a ham.  I only bought the first picture but took a picture with my phone of the other ones when they were displaying them for me.  :)  Oh, and WHY are the school pictures SO expensive?!?!  It's crazy!

Such a cutie!

Smiling with the random bear.  Haha.

Posing.  I love it.

I love picture day!

Santa

The day before Thanksgiving Hannah and I met Lainey at the movies to see Frozen!  She was super excited to be at the movies!

We're at the movies Mommy!  Haha.

It was a GREAT movie (which we've taken Daddy back to see after Christmas) and Hannah's little eyes were glued to the screen the entire time.  She has asked to see it pretty much every day since then.

After seeing the movie we walked over to visit Santa! This was the look she was giving.

She was like, I'm not going to smile.  Or talk to this strange man.

Ok, maybe I'll talk a little...

Then we said "Hannah, do you want a cookie?!" and JACKPOT!!  We got our picture!  I think it's the cutest Santa picture ever.  :)

After seeing Santa we went to lunch and she got her cookie of course!  And some kisses from Lainey.

Happy girls!

Here are the past Santa pics.
