26 Weeks

Pregnancy Highlights:

How Far Along: 26 Weeks
Size of baby: Hannah is about the length of an English cucumber
Total Weight Gain: 12 lbs
Maternity Clothes: All maternity pants and some regular/mostly maternity tops
Gender: GIRL!!! Hannah Lee Townsend
Movement: LOTS of movement! Baby girl loves moving all over the place, most of the times I can tell if it's a punch/kick but sometimes I can't tell what exactly it is she's doing in there!  Yesterday I had my hand on my belly and I think I felt her arm move across the top.
Sleep: I fall asleep in about a minute and pretty early usually but sometimes I have a hard time staying asleep in the mornings after Austin wakes up which is way too early for me!
Cravings: Sweets as usual
What I Miss: Not much other than being able to move around like a normal person.  My coworker told me I was walking like a penguin the other day, nice.  Ha!
Symptoms: Just normal stuff.  I'm still having Braxton Hicks contractions but nothing like Saturday.  I went to the Dr yesterday for my 26 week appt and she checked me out to make sure I hadn't started pre-term labor because of Saturday and all is good!  WAY too early for that to start!  I also got in trouble about waiting too long to call her about the contractions on Saturday and how I need to remember I have a heart condition and have to take it easy.  Oops.  Hannah's heart rate was good and strong at 142 and the Dr said she's still growing just right in there.  I drank the yucky drink for my Glucose test yesterday too.  Wasn't that bad to physically drink, it just made me feel sick afterwards for a few hours.
Best moment this week: Seeing her moving around so much and getting her room done! All we have left is getting some wall decorations! :)  The other morning I was laying in bed with my hands on my belly and she wasn't moving and I said "good morning Hannah" and she kicked me back!  It was cute, I think she was saying "good morning Mommy".  Ok, maybe not, but I can think what I want right?!  ;)

Isn't it funny how it seems like if you think about them moving (especially if they haven't for a while) they will! Such a cute moment between you two! Can't wait to see pictures of the nursery!
