36 Weeks

Pregnancy Highlights:

How Far Along: 36 Weeks 

Size of baby: Hannah is about the weight of a melon, around 6 lbs and about 18 1/2 inches long (this is according to BabyCenter.com) the ultrasound tech today said something MUCH higher!  Hannah is estimated right now to be about 7lbs 4oz!!!  Oh.  My.  Gosh.  She did say give or take a pound though so in my mind I'm going to go ahead and TAKE a pound away!  ;)

Total Weight Gain: 23 lbs

Maternity Clothes: All maternity clothes

Gender: GIRL!!! Hannah Lee Townsend

Movement: Lots of movement!  She showed off all her moves to the ultrasound tech today too, she was a wiggle worm!  Last night for the 1st time she was moving around so much and in such a way that I was just UNCOMFORTABLE!  Luckily she moved around some more and I was able to sleep comfortably.  I even told Austin that this was the 1st time I actually felt ready to have her, most of the time I get a little sad thinking she won't be with me all the time anymore.  I can't wait to meet Hannah soon but at the same time I've really just loved being pregnant with her so I will be a little sad once it's over.  But I'm sure I'll be over that in about 2 seconds once she's actually here.  :)  Our little wiggle worm is moving all around in there right now as I type this actually!

Sleep: I'm still falling asleep super easy but I'm waking up several times throughout the night and sometimes I have a hard time falling back to sleep.  Luckily I'm not having to get up to go to work anymore so I can relax in the mornings (I'm still waking up super early like I'm actually going to work) instead of getting ready and driving to work.

Cravings: Sweets

What I Miss: Moving around like a normal person.  I am SLOW!!  I also feel HUGE!!

Symptoms: Heartburn daily, absent mindedness, swelling, shortness of breath, lots of BH contractions and now I'm losing my balance more often, it's weird.  I'm definitely more achy now than before.  Since I started my "home" rest my feet swelling is SOOO much better!!  They usually look pretty normal everyday now!  My BH contractions are still going strong daily though.  

Best moment this week: Seeing our sweet baby girl this morning!!  It was so much fun to see her moving around and she's SO much bigger than the last time we saw her!  She put on a good show for us too, I'll do another post with some of her pictures.
